| Study on Synthesid of -Homo Asparagine and its Side Reaction |

| Optically active L-β-Homo asparagine,was prepared fromα-L-asparagine using the Amdt-Eistert homologation. At the same time the dehydrated products of β-cyano alanine ester,β-cyano-alanine diazoketone and β-Homo-asparagine were synthesized. The mechanism of the hydration was suggested. |
