Persimmon is one of the eight major fruits in China. It has many medicinal properties such as clearing heat, promoting the secretion of saliva,curing dysentery,strengthening spleen and stomach and etc. The fruits, flowers, pedicles and leaves of persimmons are rich in various nutrients and medicinal ingredients. This paper summarizes the latest international and domestic processing and research status of persimmon resources. |
