脱落酸(abscisic acid,ABA)是一种在高等植物中广泛分布的激素,其最初被证明存在于哺乳动物脑组织中,后来被发现也存在于哺乳动物血浆和其他组织部位如脂肪细胞,胰岛β细胞,角质形成细胞,粒细胞,单核细胞,巨噬细胞,间充质干细胞及海马神经元中,并且ABA与许多临床相关的人类疾病密不可分。本文概述了ABA用于改善或治疗炎症性肠病、糖尿病及动脉粥样硬化的研究进展,以及其对神经元细胞的作用。ABA可能以羊毛硫氨酸合成酶C样蛋白2(lanthionine synthetase C-like 2,LANCL2)和过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体-γ(peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-gamma,PPARγ)为作用靶标发挥生理效应。基于ABA的生物安全性,其可能作为治疗炎症和感染性人类疾病的新药候选物。 |

Abscisic acid(ABA)is a widely distributed plant hormone.ABA was first reported in brain tissue in mammals.Later,it was shown to be present in mammalian blood plasma and other tissue sites such as in adipocytes,pancreaticβ-cells,keratinocytes,granulocytes,monocytes,macrophages,mesenchymal stem cells and hippocampal neurons.Besides,ABA was also reported to exert crucial effects in a number of clinically relevant human diseases.In this paper,we summarize the advances of ABA in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease,diabetes,atherosclerosis,along with its effect on neuronal cells.Moreover,it may exert its physiological function vialanthionine synthetase C-like 2(LANCL2)and peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-gamma(PPARγ).ABA may be used as a novel drug candidate for the treatment of inflammatory and infectious human diseases based on its biosafety. |
