glyA基因广泛存在于生物体中,其编码的丝氨酸羟甲基 转移酶(serine hydroxymethyltransferase, SHMT)催化丝氨酸和甘氨酸之间的相互转化, 转化反应产生的5,10-亚甲基四氢叶酸(M-THF)提供细胞新陈代谢—碳单位,此反应在细 胞新陈代谢中处于重要地位。因此,研究glyA基因及其编码的丝氨酸羟甲基转移酶具有 重要的意义。介绍了glyA基因的克隆、序列分析、调控组分和丝氨酸羟甲基转移酶的部 分性质。 |

Abstract: |
GlyA gene is present in many organisms. Serine hydr oxymethyltransferase(SHMT), encoded by glyA gene, catalyzes the conversion o f serine and tetrahydrofolate to glycine and 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate. A m ajor function of this reaction is to generate the one-carbon units involved in t he numerous methylation reaction that occur within the cell. Therefore, it is he lpful to study glyA gene and serine hydroxymethyltransferase. This pap er primarily reviews cloning and nucleotide sequence anal ysis and regular compo nent of glyA gene, partial characteristics of serine h ydroxymethyltransferase. |
